Beef kofta

Kofta is a Middle Eastern dish made from chopped or ground lamb, mutton or beef with lots of oriental spices and fresh herbs. It tastes best grilled over fire. It is served with dips and different types of bread such as lavash or pita.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g water
  • 25 g coriander leaves
  • 200 g red onion
  • 4 g cumin seed
  • 10 g fresh mint
  • 2 g coriander seeds
  • 10 g chili peppers
  • 4 g sweet paprika
  • 800 g minced beef
  • 16 g garlic
  • 30 g parsley leaves

Method of cooking:

  1. Add the herbs, cut every 3 cm (discard the wooden mint sprigs), to the bowl. Chop for 5 seconds at speed 20. Transfer to a bowl. Add 4 peeled cloves of garlic, ½ chili pepper without seeds cut into smaller pieces, 200 g of cleaned red onion cut into smaller pieces. Chop for 12 seconds at speed 10.
