Hungarian lecho

Lecho, also known as "lečo", is a traditional Hungarian dish that has also gained its popularity in Poland. It is a tasty and aromatic dish that consists of vegetables, mainly peppers, tomatoes, onions and with the addition of sweet and hot peppers. It is traditionally fried in melted lard.

Ingredients:

  • 3 g ground black pepper
  • 450 g sweet pepper
  • 200 g yellow pepepr
  • 14 g hot paprika powder
  • 28 g sweet paprika
  • 150 g green peppers
  • 600 g Onion, raw
  • 15 g sugar
  • 12 g salt
  • 500 g tmato
  • 100 g bacon
  • 700 g tomato passata

Method of cooking:

  1. On the lid of the bowl place a container and weigh out 600 g of peeled onion cut into 1 cm pieces. Set the container aside.
