This is definitely for those who like very sweet desserts. This unusual cake comes from Turkish cuisine and is extremely popular in Greece, but also in many other Balkan countries. This is a great example of how the further south you go in Europe, the sweeter desserts dominate.

Ingredients:

  • 100 g water
  • 40 g sugar, brown
  • 1 g ground cinnamom
  • 200 g blanched almonds
  • 30 g rose water
  • 600 g ciasto philo
  • 200 g sugar
  • 110 g butter
  • 10 g lemon juice
  • 150 g Pistachio nuts, dried
  • 40 g Oil, rapeseed

Method of cooking:

  1. Add 60 g of pistachios, chop for 5 s at speed 14. Transfer into the cotainer and set aside.
