Chive oil

Flavoured oils are an interesting alternative to olive oil or other fine cold-pressed oils. You can serve them with fresh bread as is done in southern Europe, to drizzle over cream-type soups, or even in main dishes. Chive oil has a beautiful green colour and an intense, yet mild, slightly sweet flavour. We recommend preparing "chive mayonnaise" on its base.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g Chives
  • 700 g Oil, rapeseed

Method of cooking:

  1. Add the oil into the bowl and heat for 1 minute at 60°C at speed 3 reverse rotation.
