Kashubian herring
This dish, although it has its roots in regional cuisine, has gained popularity throughout Poland and is often found on tables outside Kashubia.

Ingredients:
- 1 g ground black pepper
- 2 g allspice
- 1 g bay leaves
- 20 g spirit vinegar 10 %
- 50 g Ketchup
- 400 g Onion, raw
- 5 g sugar
- 3 g salt
- 400 g Herring, salted
- 150 g Oil, rapeseed
- 100 g tomato paste 30%, canned
Method of cooking:
- Put a bowl on the lid of the bowl and weigh out 400 grams of peeled onion, cut into 0.5 cm slices. Set the bowl aside.
