Aglio e olio
Spaghetti aglio olio is one of the oldest dishes of Italian cuisine, originating from Naples. The name of the dish comes from the ingredients: “aglio”- garlic, and “olio” - olive oil. Initially, the dish was prepared by poor residents of the region who had few ingredients at their disposal in their kitchens. However, thanks to its simplicity and wonderful taste, it quickly gained popularity and spread throughout Italy.
