Recipe for exceptionally delicious, unusual dumplings from Podlasie, with a filling base of chopped potato pancakes with the addition of sautéed onion, garlic, and aromatic smoked bacon.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g water
  • 1 g ground black pepper
  • 300 g Onion, raw
  • 8 g garlic
  • 12 g salt
  • 20 g Bread crumbs
  • 10 g Chives
  • 60 g chicken eggs, whole
  • 450 g wheat flour, type 550
  • 200 g Pork, belly, without bone, smoked
  • 70 g Oil, rapeseed
  • 700 g Potato, long stored

Method of cooking:

  1. Add 700 grams of potatoes, peeled, washed and cut into smaller pieces and 1 teaspoon of salt to the bowl. Chop for 50 seconds at a speed of 8 rotations.
