Rösti is a Swiss national dish. It is prepared from boiled grated potatoes. Traditionally fried in oil or butter, served on its own or with pork scratchings, cheese, or an egg.

Ingredients:

  • 1000 g water
  • 1 g white pepper
  • 3 g salt
  • 20 g chives
  • 60 g Eggs fried in butter
  • 50 g bacon
  • 30 g Oil, rapeseed
  • 500 g Potato, long stored

Method of cooking:

  1. Add 1000 grams of water to the bowl. Place both floors of the steamer on the mixing bowl lid. On its second floor, weigh 500 grams of peeled and diced potatoes. Cook for 35 minutes at 140°C. Remove the steamer and place it on the inverted lid, set the potatoes aside to cool completely and put them in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Pour the water out of the bowl and dry it.
